Total Time 6 minutes
Servings 1 serving
- 2 shots espresso or 4 oz of strongly brewed coffee
- 1 Tablespoon Equal Exchange's Organic Spicy Hot Cocoa mix, heaping
- 1/4 cup whole milk
- 12 oz ice in a glass
- cinnamon or cayenne pepper for garnish optional
- whipped cream optional
Brew espresso or strong coffee (we used a pour-over method!) and transfer to an empty measuring cup.
Add the Spicy Hot Cocoa mix and stir until thoroughly blended.
Pour mixture into ice-filled glass. Add milk, adjusting to taste, and stir again.
Fill glass to the top with more ice. For extra decadence, top with whipped cream and garnish with a pinch of cinnamon or cayenne power. Or both!
